New photos from Kate Beckinsale’s sub-zero thriller Whiteout released

Yahoo has posted new stills from the long-delayed Kate Beckinsale film Whiteout, the film based on Greg Rucka’s graphic novel.

Dominic Sena directs Whiteout from a script by Jon & Erich Hoeber and Chad & Carey Hayes, about a U.S. Marshal (Beckinsale) who’s tracking a killer in the sub-zero temperatures of Antarctica, as the sun is about to set for six months. Joining Beckinsale in the Antarctic will be Alex O’Loughlin, Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short, Tom Skerritt, Shawn Doyle, Patrick Sabongui, Nicolas Wright and Bashar Rahal.

The new photo releases were accompanied by a brand new trailer that was released with The Collector, which began its cinema run this weekend. The trailer was also attached to some other movies in their second frames, including Orphan.

Whiteout hits theaters on September 11, 2009.
