Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island trailer

Set in 1954, Martin Scorsese’s latest thriller Shutter Island follows U.S. Marshals Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.

Shutter Island, which is based on a novel by Dennis Lehane, also stars Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow, Jackie Earle Haley, Patricia Clarkson. It is due in theaters on October 2, 2009.
