The demo for Final Fantasy XIII is already available in Japan and will be available soon in North America and Europe. For fans who can’t wait a few months for the game demo for Final Fantasy XIII, the crew over at Square Enix have revealed a new trailer for the next title in the bestselling franchise. While the Final Fantasy series was previously a PS3 exclusive, it’s now coming to the Xbox 360 at launch.
Final Fantasy XIII is one of the most highly anticipated titles for 2009. The gameplay allows players to roam the realms of Pulse, a forested and overgrown planet, along with Cocoon, a heavenly floating world. Play is based on strategy, with players selecting options from a menu while remaining in active combat. As per former recent Final Fantasy titles, the battles are integrated into the in-game world environment. The use of Summons is again included, with the summoned creatures being partially robotic. Square Enix is also planning to add online features to Final Fantasy XIII.
The game will be on store shelves in November of this year.
