IndieFest 2009

IndieFest is a family-oriented event that features independent features, shorts, documentaries and student films of all genres, and takes place in Central Florida, one of the world’s most visited tourist destinations. A closed-street festival taking place in the Disney-developed community of Celebration, IndieFest presents over 75 screenings and four gala premieres, along with a film market, filmmaking seminars, panels with industry pros, concerts, fireworks, outdoor screenings, street performers and celebrity appearances.

The event’s aim is to highlight and celebrate quality films that contribute to the progress of the motion picture arts and to encourage the development of the film industry.
