Poster for Warcraft adaptation revealed, trailer launching Friday

Legendary and Universal Pictures have turned their marketing might to next summer’s Warcraft live-action adaption being directed by Duncan Jones. Warcraft stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Daniel Wu, Ben Schnetzer and Rob Kazinsky.

Warcraft tells the origin story of the first encounters between the humans and the orcs, with an emphasis on both the Alliance’s and Horde’s sides of their conflict. Featuring characters such as Durotan (Toby Kebbell) and Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel), Warcraft takes place in a variety of locations established in the video game series.
