Life is incredible. . . film is incredible! Last night I had the opportunity to meet the great Pam Grier while she attended a Lincoln Center Retrospective of her most memorable roles. Needless to say, I was awestruck, but not just by her iconic legend. I was amazed at how down to earth and approachable she was. After briefly meeting her back stage, I listened to a discussion she had with filmmaker Warrington Hudlin (Warrington is also a dedicated Tai Chi practitioner) and watched a rare 35MM print of her cult classic Coffy.
I wrote a piece on CNN’s website and posted some of my photos from the event. I have a number of photos from many events to share with everyone, I’ve just been busy prepping to edit the Blvd. Warriors documentary. But I have some incredible photos to share very soon, so stay tuned!
