Frank Darabont and Gale Ann Hurd discuss The Walking Dead

AMC has posted two behind-the-scenes featurettes from the upcoming miniseries adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead series of graphic novels.

The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC in October 2010 during AMC Fearfest.

In the first video below, go behind-the-scenes with writer/director Frank Darabont and executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, as they discuss the genesis of The Walking Dead adaptation, and where the series stands in the zombie film lexicon… no seriously.

In the second featurette below, get an inside look at an on-set “zombie school” for the actors in The Walking Dead. “Zombie school” is meant to teach the actors how to be proper dead folk.
