Southern Circuit is the nation’s only regional tour of independent filmmakers, providing communities with an interactive way to engage and experience independent film. The tour utilizes an intimate context to connect audiences with filmmakers and engage with films they might not otherwise have the opportunity to see.
In addition to traveling and speaking to audiences during the Southern Circuit, filmmakers contribute to the Southern Circuit Blog in between screenings. Prior to the tour of each film, a podcast interview with each filmmaker is recorded and made available on the Southern Arts Federation website. The blog and podcast provide opportunities for filmmakers to connect with audiences before and after the tour.
