EW.com reports that Oscar nominee Jackie Earle Haley – who’s about to kick some major ass in Watchmen as Rorschach – will play a supporting role in the upcoming Fox TV pilot Human Target, which is also based on a DC Comics series.
The pilot is looking to secure a slot on the fall 2009 schedule. Chi McBride (Hoodlum, Cradle 2 the Grave, Pushing Daisies) is also joining the cast, which stars Fringe actor Mark Valley and is executive-produced by Terminator Salvation director McG.
The storyline revolves around a character named Christopher Chance (Valley), a private detective who changes his identity each week to become a ‘human target’ in order to keep his clients out of harms’ way.
