5/8/2006: According to MonkeyPeaches, the film may get a name change, possibly to Curse of the Golden Flower.
Recently Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone and representatives of eight US film distributors visited the set of The City of Golden Armor at Beijing Film Studios.
In February, Variety reported, Yimou’s upcoming epic was pre-sold to 13 European territories, including Tobis for Germany, RAI for Italy, Nordisk for Scandinavia, RCV for Benelux, Odeon for Greece and Eco for Portugal, plus Shani for Israel.
