Taking place in New Orleans’ world-famous French Quarter, the Big Easy Shorts Festival and Big Easy International Film Festivals offers filmmakers the opportunity to share their work with a culturally rich and artistically diverse community. In its first two years, the Festival showcased some of the world’s best, most innovative short films. Now in its third year, the Festival expands and introduces a feature film program, with the same mission – to promote independent cinema, support Louisiana’s filmmaking industry, and encourage New Orleans’ post-Katrina revival.
