The illustration was created with Prismacolor Pencils and Acrylic paint on a dark colored Canson Paper.

What you are getting is a copy of the article page in the newspaper, plus the original illustration that was used for the editorial. Most of this type of illustration art was created prior to the advent of computer generated art, when Art Directors would assign illustration assignments that needed to be rendered within 1 or 2 days.
