The Starz Black Film Festival is a celebrated and venerated Rocky Mountain celebration of cinema, that is acclaimed and adored by visiting filmmakers and local audiences alike. The festival is presented by the Denver Film Society, a non-profit cultural institution dedicated to the celebration and cultivation of film as art. This annual celebration of film provides an important showcase for the best of world cinema, a platform for international film artists, and promotes dialogue among filmmakers and the public.
