The 3rd Annual Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival

The Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival, emphasizes the richness of the African American experience through cinema in Norfolk, Virginia. The festival presents black and multi-cultural independent films, including powerful narratives, compelling historical and contemporary documentaries, innovative student films, colorful animated shorts, and groundbreaking music videos. The event is a program of the non-profit Crispus Attucks Cultural Center, with a mission to provide a cultural alternative to the commercial film experience, support independent film and artists and to promote the art of filmmaking itself with a focus on the development of creativity and ideas.
