#NYCC Exclusive: AMC hosting panel for martial arts steampunk action thriller Into the Badlands at New York Comic-Con 2015 with Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, Daniel Wu and more

into-the-badlands-poster-tv-series-amc-imagesAMC has announced that following up their success at San Diego Comic-Con in July, the network will host a panel for it’s hybrid martial arts steampunk action thriller Into the Badlands at New York Comic-Con in a few weeks. The Into the Badlands panelists include Executive Producer and star Daniel Wu, Aramis Knight, Emily Beecham and Orla Brady, as well as Creators, Showrunners and Executive Producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and Executive Producer and Fight Director Stephen Fung. The panel will be moderated by Mashable’s Sandra Gonzalez.

In a land controlled by feudal barons, Into the Badlands tells the story of a ruthless, well-trained warrior named Sunny (Daniel Wu) and a young boy named M.K. (Aramis Knight) who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment. The six-part series is created by executive producers/showrunners/writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Shanghai Noon, Smallville), and executive produced by Oscar-nominated producers Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg (Pulp Fiction, Contagion), director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers, Shanghai Nights), fight director Stephen Fung (Tai Chi Zero, House of Fury) and Daniel Wu (Tai Chi Zero).

The panel takes place on Saturday, October 10th, from 11:00am – 12:00pm, in Room 1A06.
