FX renews outlaw biker series Sons of Anarchy

FX Networks president and general manager John Landgraf announced today that the cable net has renewed its critically acclaimed drama Sons of Anarchy for a fourth season, placing a 13-episode order for the show. Sons of Anarchy was created by Kurt Sutter who also serves as executive producer, along with John and Art Linson. The series is produced by FX Productions and Fox 21.

Eight episodes remain in Sons of Anarchy’s current season, which airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific. The third season finale will air on Tuesday, November 30th. Sons of Anarchy ranks as basic cable’s number one scripted series, delivering 8.6 million total Viewers and 5.9 million adults ages 18-49.

In the next episode of the popular show, titled “The Push,” which airs on October 12th, the ‘Sons of Anarchy’ must handle a rat at St. Thomas in order to protect their territory.
