IFC has put together the ultimate list of “The 50 Greatest Trailers of All Time,” with a list that ranges from The Shining to Pulp Fiction.

Some of my favorites are included, including the aforementioned The Shining, Alien (1979), Face/Off, Psycho (1960), Citizen Kane (1941), Watchmen, along with some new-found treasures, including The Big Sleep (1946), Little Children and The Manchurian Candidate (1962). Then there were some oddities that must have been added to spark outrage/debate, like Cloverfield, The Strangers (2008) and South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut.

It’s a great list, and there are video embeds of all the trailers, along with well written commentaries. Below are the top ten from the list. Which is your favorite? Any suggestions not on the IFC list?
