The Nantucket Film Festival was founded in 1996 to spotlight screenwriting in today’s cinema. Inspired by the colorful local community of writers and artists on the island of Nantucket, NFF has been dedicated to the notion that the screenwriter’s contribution is at the core of filmmaking.
The Festival provides an engaging arena for filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, producers, agents, and development executives to network, relax, and enjoy excellent films. NFF boasts signature events for guests and audiences alike, including Late Night Storytelling, Morning Coffee With, In Their Shoes, staged readings of un-produced screenplays, and the gala NBC Universal Screenwriters Tribute which each year has honored the career of a distinguished screenwriter.
