Open to professional, first time, graduate and undergraduate filmmakers from around the globe, FirstGlance showcases the best in truly indie filmmaking and celebrates Philadelphia filmmakers with a festival described as “one of the most entertaining festivals out there.”
FirstGlance Film Fest Philadelphia boasts vibrant receptions and special events nightly for its 25,000 festgoers and filmmakers. Plus, Festival honors bring with them notable resources; in 2009, FirstGlance will grant over $50,000 USD in cash and prizes, and for every 1,000 entries received, an additional $5,000 will be added to the Grand Prize.
