Steven Spielberg futuristic thriller Extant coming to CBS next summer
Variety reports that Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television has nabbed a straight-to-series order from CBS for 13 episodes of a futuristic drama thriller titled Extant, set to air in summer 2014. The summer scheduling reflects the Network’s increased interest in original summer programming, following the successful debut of Amblin and Brian K. Vaughan’s Under the Dome ….
