The mission of VISIONFEST is to provide an exhibition forum for the American auteur that is specialized and focused; one that does not dilute the presence of U.S. films within a sea of international product.
VISIONFEST filmmakers vie for a total of $30,000 USD in industry goods and services, priming them for their next project. The winning screenplay will receive a staged reading in NY or LA, and the chance to follow in Fest alum Mike Bencivenga’s footsteps – his screenplay SINGLE BULLET THEORY was read by leading actor Eric Stoltz, and later went on to development with Bencivenga signed on to direct.
