The 4th Annual Vail Film Festival Screenwriting Competition (VFFSC) is a powerful vehicle for aspiring screenwriters. VFFSC presents winning short and feature screenplays for consideration to top-level producers, and furthers the careers of talented screenwriters, through visibility, networking opportunities, and industry access.
Short and feature screenplay submissions are judged by an industry jury, with first Place winners receive two all-access passes to attend the Festival, three nights’ lodging, lift tickets, a meeting with an established producer, a staged reading of an excerpt from their screenplay, and recognition at the VFF awards ceremony.
