New York Film Festival releases 2009 slate

The New York Film Festival released its 2009 slate of films on Tuesaday, with a focus on international films, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The lineup includes such European filmmakers as Michael Haneke (The White Ribbon), Alain Resnais (who will open the fest with Wild Grass), Pedro Almodovar (Broken Embraces) and Claire Denis (White Material).
