To celebrate its creative customer base, Amazon is sponsoring the Your Amazon Ad Contest – your chance to film your own idea for an Amazon commercial, and compete for $20,000 in Amazon.com Gift Cards, and the opportunity to have your work seen by millions of Amazon customers in addition to attendees at the 2010 Gen Art Film Festival.
Submissions must be 30 seconds or less, and will be evaluated based on creativity, overall appeal, and their likelihood of making viewers want to shop at Amazon. There are no content restrictions, but creativity is key, and eye-catching, DVR-rewinding themes and visuals are encouraged. All entries need to be suitable for family viewing on a national news network, and only U.S. filmmakers are eligible. Other restrictions apply – see the Official Rules for details.
Upload your completed ads to Amazon.com or their Withoutabox website by the submission deadline of July 17th.
