The Grand Rapids Film Festival debuts this year in western Michigan, providing a highly anticipated showcase of message-driven independent films featuring inspirational, educational, enlightening and entertaining themes. The Festival chooses to focus on universally appealing films that make a positive impact on audiences, whether attendees walk away with a newfound passion for a cause, or simply a more positive outlook. The fest also offers filmmakers an opportunity to apply for the Dove Foundation’s “Family Approved” Seal, the most sought-after endorsement for artists trying to reach the faith and family audience.
