Woods Hole Film Festival 2009

The Woods Hole Film Festival is a showcase of independent film spotlighting the work of first-time filmmakers and promoting the work of New England Filmmakers. WHFF also hosts staged screenplay readings and offers hands-on workshops geared toward both veteran and first-time filmmakers.

Exhibiting filmmakers vie for audience and juried awards in each category, which grant winners filmmaking-related services, software, hardware, workshops, and more. The Festival’s jury is comprised of industry professionals from around the country, granting official selections key exposure. WHFF focuses on its filmmakers and offers many educational and professional opportunities, plus lodging assistance for filmmakers who travel to Cape Cod from other regions. Exhibiting artists become part of the WHFF family, and are offered inclusion in post-Festival opportunities such as distribution offers, special screening programs, and other events.
