Roland Emmerich’s 10,000 B.C. synopsis

10,000 B.C. is not a remake of the 1966 Rachel Welch film, One Million Years B.C., although I’m sure the inspiration came from the title.Roland Emmerich’s epic follows a young mammoth hunter’s journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe. 10,000 B.C. stars Camilla Belle, Steven Strait, Omar Sharif, Cliff Curtis and Tim Barlow, and will be in theaters on March 7, 2008.

Apparently, Danny Trejo will be making a return appearance as Machete in a feature film due in 2008. Planet Terror director Robert Rodriguez, will direct the film, which revolves around an Mexican immigrant/government spy/assassin/machete knife master, who’s out for revenge. Rogue gets a name change

The highly anticipated action thriller Rogue, starring Jet Li, Jason Statham, Devon Aoki, Kane Kosugi and John Lone, is now going to be called War. I confirmed this at the IMDB website also. Interestingly, Lionsgate still has the www.roguethefilm.com website online, with the original name. I’m sure that’s going to change soon.
