Urban Action Showcase and Expo
The Urban Action Showcase and Expo (UASE) is a film festival, script writing competition and film expo that celebrates the multicultural achievements in the action filmmaking genre. The stated mission of the UASE is to recognize, promote, facilitate and encourage the participation of multiethnic actors, filmmakers and content creators in filmmaking. The event consists of networking opportunities, panels and workshops.
UASE offers both mainstream and no budget contests for filmmakers of all levels.
The Urban Action Showcase International Action Film Festival, featuring the Cinemax Action Short Film Competition, accepts live action and animated films centering on the action genre. Winners receive prizes and distribution opportunities on various platforms including Cinemax, Amazon, Vimeo, Netflix, Hulu and VOD.
The Urban Action Expo allows content creators, production and entertainment companies as well as other industry-related vendors the opportunity to showcase their content, goods and services to a multicultural niche target market.
