Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market
Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market is a swap meet that hosts more than 200 DIY vendors selling items such as vinyl, cassettes, vintage clothing, toys, taxidermy, antiques, collectibles, handmade jewelry, classic video games, original artwork, along with a dozen of the area’s finest food trucks. The 2016 event features a “Dunk the Punk” tank where visitors can dunk punks all day with all proceeds benefiting the Lady Margaret Animal Foundation.
Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market began in 2013 and occurs 3 times per year. As of August 2016 the flea market takes place at the historic Roebling Wire Works building in Trenton, New Jersey. According to the event’s organizers, the only firm guideline for being a vendor is that vendors have to be “makers,” meaning that they must create or lend heavily to the creation of their own products.
Joseph Kuzemka is the founder of the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market.
