The Angelus Student Film Festival honors student filmmakers whose works respect the dignity of the human person. Examples of such themes include redemption, equality, spirituality, hope, forgiveness, and tolerance.
Awards for achievements in filmmaking are presented at ASFF across numerous categories. The Grand Prize of $10,000 goes to the film that best reflects the Angelus theme through story, direction, and technical excellence. Other awards honor films which deliver emotional impact, reflect a spirit of redemption, demonstrate technical expertise, and those which win over audiences.
