The Seattle True Independent Film Festival is committed to showcasing and furthering the work of the best independent voices in filmmaking.
Uniquely described by film critic Andrew Wright as being “like a belch in church,” STIFF is a haven for independent film. Founded for filmmakers, by filmmakers, STIFF injects as much fairness into the selection process as possible. All submissions are viewed in their entirety at least three times during judging, and are treated with the utmost respect.
