According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joe Johnston (Jurassic Park III, Hidalgo, Jumanji), who’s been busy putting the finishing touches on Universal’s reinvention of The Wolf Man, has been contracted to direct First Avenger: Captain America, for Marvel Studios.

There is another film called Outlander, that will be in theaters soon. It stars Jim Caviezel, and features a rather unique storyline of vikings vs aliens. The film received a limited international release, and will go straight to DVD on November 18, 2008.
