The illustration was created with Prismacolor Pencils and Acrylic paint on a dark colored Canson Paper.

What you are getting is a copy of the magazine, plus the original illustration that was used for one of the articles. Most of this type of illustration art was created prior to the advent of computer generated art, when Art Directors would assign illustration assignments that needed to be rendered within 1 or 2 days.
