Fundación Octaedro presents the 5th Annual People’s Award International Short Film Festival, offering filmmakers a rare opportunity to showcase short films before eager audiences in Ecuador. The Festival takes place in the vibrant downtown district of Quito, Ecuador’s beautiful capital city. This South American metropolis is a colonial jewel, drenched in culture and surrounded by the Andes Mountains. The Festival is unique in that organizers choose to bypass a selection process, and instead present all submitted films for audiences. The Festival kicks off with an opening night party in downtown Quito, and continues to present films and useful filmmaking seminars throughout the duration of the event.
