WhedonCon is a Whedonverse convention, designed by fans for fans. The event is presented by the same people that produce the Buffy Musical at San Diego Comic Con and the Dr. Horrible Sing-Alongs at Wondercon & Halloween in Los Angeles. The event focuses on all areas of fandom, including: books, comics, television, movies, animation, technology, steampunk, arts and science. In addition to dealers’ room and panels, the event features seminars, hands-on workshops & meetup areas on those topics.

Whedonopolis.com an online media site dedicated to promoting the Whedonverse and everyone involved in it, whether cast, crew, writer, director.

WhedonCon also helps raise funds for Fandom Charities Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established for the purpose of raising funds for charitable organizations. The organization raises funds through fandom events, conventions, special appearances and media events, and serves as a hub for the latest news and happenings in the creative universe of selected fandoms.

WhedonCon originally launched in 2016 and celebrates its second year at the Warner Center Marriott in Los Angeles, California.
