Northeast Comic Con and Collectibles Extravaganza

The NorthEast Comic Con and Collectibles Extravaganza is a pop culture convention produced by Interactive Meet and Greet Entertainment (IMAGE), that takes place in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The event features cosplay, costume contests, video game free play and competitions, celebrity guests signing autographs, panels, screenings, parties, VIP Experiences, and vendors of vintage and modern toys, comic books, jewelry, clothing, art and other pop culture must-haves, along with artists and authors.

IMAGE CEO Gary Sohmers created the Collectibles Extravaganza in 1986 and has produced over 150 of these collectors and fan events. He has also produced countless concerts and is renowned in the pop culture community, gaining the moniker “The King of Pop Culture.” Gary also appeared on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow for 13 seasons as the appraiser of pop culture-related collectibles and toys.
