Legoland Malaysia is that country’s first international theme park. The facility opened in September of 2012 with more than 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. It is the first Legoland theme park in Asia and sixth globally. Other Lego-themed attractions have also opened near the original park. Legoland Water Park, a Lego-themed water theme park, opened in 2013 and Legoland Hotel, a Lego-themed hotel, is located at the theme park and was the first to open in Southeast Asia, opened in the first half of 2014.
Legoland Malaysia Resort is located at Iskandar Puteri (also known as Nusajaya), Johor, Malaysia. Iskandar Puteri is located west of Johor Bahru, in close proximity to Port of Tanjung Pelepas and Gelang Patah. It is located within a 45-minute drive from Singapore’s Changi International Airport, a regional aviation hub, and 20 minutes from Johor’s Senai International Airport. Legoland Malaysia Resort is 55 minutes from Singapore’s Changi Airport and 10 minutes from Singapore’s Tuas Second Link.
