First two images from robot boxing sci-fi drama Real Steel

Empire has posted two images from Shawn Levy’s (Night at the Museum, Date Night) sci-fi drama Real Steel, which stars Hugh Jackman as a robot boxing promoter.

Real Steel is set in a future where robot boxing is a popular sport. The film centers on a struggling promoter (Jackman) who thinks he’s found a champion in a discarded robot, while attempted to reconnect with his 11-year-old son (Dakota Goyo).

Real Steel, which also stars Evangeline Lilly, Kevin Durand, Anthony Mackie, Hope Davis, James Rebhorn and Olga Fonda, is scheduled to be released on November 18, 2011.
