NBC orders sci-fi pilot Day One from Heroes scribe

NBC has ordered a post-apocalyptic drama pilot called Day One, from Heroes writer Jesse Alexander, who has also written episodes of Alias and Lost, according to a Variety report. The one-hour show takes place following a catastrophic global event that destroys the world’s infrastructure. The action centers on a small group of survivors.
