The UK horror Eden Lake follows a teacher (Kelly Reilly) and her boyfriend (Michael Fassbender), who escape for a romantic weekend at a remote lake enclosed by woodlands and seemingly deserted. The couple’s peace is shattered when a gang of obnoxious kids encircle their campsite, steal their belongings and vandalize their car, leaving them stranded.

After her boyfriend suffers a shocking and violent attack by the youths, the woman attempts to flee, and is subject to a brutal and relentless game of cat-and-mouse, as she desperately tries to evade her young pursuers.

The horror is set to be released in the U.K. on September 12, 2008. No U.S. release date has been set, so it could show up in the U.S. on DVD, or On-Demand.
