According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Cruise and Sam Raimi are prepping a film adaptation of a DC Comic called Sleeper at Warner Bros. Cruise is attached to possibly star in the film, with Spider-Man director Raimi producing. If this happens, that would make yet another spy Cruise would be headlining in the next few years.

Sleeper was written by Ed Brubaker with art by Sean Phillips, and ran from 2003 to 2005. It follows a colorful operative that gains superpowers, after he fuses with an alien artifact that makes him impervious to pain and allows him to pass it on to others through skin contact.
