In a small Maine fishing town, struggling lobster fisherman, Cody Brewer (Colm Meaney), discovers a mysterious sea moss in one of his traps. Tension in the already fragile Brewer family erupts when the true supernatural quality of the moss is revealed and becomes sought after by everybody in town. A Lobster Tale is a feel good film about a father and husband struggling with life.

The film stars Colm Meaney, Alberta Watson, Jack Knight and Graham Greene. A Lobster Tale was directed by Adam Massey and written by Court Candall (who wrote Old School).
