Below is a new clip from the horror film Cthulhu, an indie project from first time director Dan Gildark.

Cthulhu, which is based on the book by H.P. Lovecraft, screened at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2007, and has been on the festival circuit. The fright flick revolves around a Seattle history professor, who is drawn back to his estranged family on the Oregon coast to execute his late mother’s estate. Caught in an accelerating series of events, he discovers aspects of his father’s New Age cult which take on a dangerous and apocalyptic significance.
