Seven Arts signs Anthony Hickox to helm horror Catwalk, with supermodel Julie Ordon starring

Supermodel Julie Ordon in bedSeven Arts Pictures announced that famed director Anthony Hickox, director of Waxwork and Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth, is signed to direct the Company’s new horror film Catwalk. Tony Hickox recently completed the suspense thriller Knife Edge with Seven Arts Pictures, which is scheduled for release in 2009.

The Company further announced that Julie Ordon has signed to star in Catwalk. Julie Ordon is well-known as the face and body in the Victoria’s Secret catalog, the cover of magazines like Glamour and Elle, and she’s acted in several European and American films. Ordon appeared on the cover of the French edition of Playboy in December 2007, and she is the face for Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick shot by Bettina Rheims. She recently attended the Cannes Film Festival to announce her role.

Catwalk follows the story of a stunning young woman who is taking the modeling industry by storm as she is drawn into the always exciting yet oftentimes dangerous world of high fashion, glamour and excess. The fact that the city is gripped by fear and speculation following the brutal murders of four supermodels is not enough to slow her down. Only when a whirlwind of fame starts to threaten her sense of identity, she moves closer to discovering the darker secrets of who and what she is.
