A brief teaser trailer is online for 2012. Like most summer blockbusters, the film will probably look very different by the time it hits theaters on July 10, 2009. But the special effects do look sweet. How much hope can you really have for this film though.

Clive Owen in the 2006 Spike Lee joint Inside Man

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a sequel to Spike Lee’s Inside Man has been green-lit at Universal, with Terry George (Hotel Rwanda, The Boxer) in negotiations to write the screenplay and Lee returning to the director’s chair.
