Colin Strause talks about casting the sci-fi thriller Skyline

In the post room for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Skyline, director and producer Colin Strause talks about how cool casting was in the movie and working with a small crew to save on budget.

On Set Video Journals are an original iamrogue.com web series that goes on set and behind-the-scenes with the directors, cast and crew of Rogue-distributed films.

Skyline is due in theaters on November 12, 2010, and stars Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, David Zayas, Donald Faison, Brittany Daniel, Crystal Reed, Neil Hopkins, J. Paul Boehmer, Tanya Newbould, Pam Levin, Phet Mahathongdy and Tony Black.

In the sci-fi thriller, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth. Skyline is directed and produced by the Greg and Colin Strause (Alien vs. Predator: Requiem), whose company Hydraulx, has provided visual effects for Avatar, Iron Man 2, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and 300.
