Michael Cera in Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World

While director Edgar Wright has been steadily posting behind-the-scenes photos on his blog for at least the last year, the first official on-camera shots from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World have shown up online, one featuring the film’s namesake hero Michael Cera in action with a flaming sword. I saw these at Empire’s website, but I’m not sure of their origins.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is due to be released in theaters sometime later this year, and also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brandon Routh, Alison Pill, Jason Schwartzman, Ellen Wong, Satya Bhabha, Mark Webber, Johnny Simmons, Mae Whitman, Brie Larson, Aubrey Plaza and Erik Knudsen.
