Vin Diesel and Paul Walker return for Justin Lin’s Fast and Furious, along with Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, all alumni from the original Fast and the Furious. The first trailer premiered this past weekend, while I watched Death Race (Yes, I watched it).

Fitting time for the trailer to break, with Diesel’s sci-fi flick Babylon A.D. hitting theaters this week.

Other news surrounding Diesel, is that he will be directing and producing a childrens’ TV series (what?) based on the story of Hannibal the Conqueror, the Carthaginian general who led an elephant-riding battalion across the Alps to attack Rome in the 3rd Century B.C. This is the story that Diesel has been pushing to create a live-action version of for years. This news came by way od MoviesOnline, but originated with SciFi Wire apparently.

EW broke some big news today, as it posted info that Michelle Rodriguez is returning to Lost this season. That makes two females returning from the dead, to popular shows this year. Rodriguez on Lost and Sarah Wayne Callies returning to Prison Break. The EW article says that she’s likely to return in the second episode of the season, and that it’ll be a one-off deal. Darn-it!
