GameStop announced that it will host Madden Mania events this Monday, August 11, 2008, at over 3,000 of its U.S. stores for the launch of Madden NFL ’09. The festivities mark the beginning of the NFL video game season and celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the game with Madden NFL ’09 tournaments, tailgate events and a variety of contests leading up to the 12:01 a.m. Tuesday release. Customers who reserved Madden NFL ’09 will also receive an exclusive coupon playbook worth $50 when they purchase any version of the game from GameStop.
