Dark Knight officially leaps over $400 million mark

According to a story just posted to Variety’s website, The Dark Knight movie reached the $400 million threshold in U.S. box office on Monday night, grossing $6.3 million for the day, for a total cume of $400.1 million. This marks only its 18th day in release.
